Before looking at what weather is suitable for roof cleaning, it is important to understand our cleaning process consists of three steps : Treatment Preparation, Gutter Cleaning, and the Treatment.
When is it not ok to have your roof cleaned?
- If your roof is SATURATED because of rain, we will not be able to perform the Treatment part of the roof clean.
- A light rain will not decrease the effectiveness of the treatment. Because we mix our chemicals individually for each job, we are able to adjust our solution to compensate for the extra water on your roof.
- We can perform the treatment preparation and gutter clean in almost any weather.
- Shake roof’s in particular are the exception to this rule, we require a dried out shake roof to work on.
