Is it alright to pressure wash my roof?
Absolutely not! The Canadian Asphalt Shingle Manufacturers Association recommends that under no circumstances should a asphalt roof be pressure washed. Despite what some contractors will tell you, even a low PSI pressure wash will damage the granules that protect shingles from the sun. In addition, most roof warranties will be voided if a pressure washer is used to clean the roof. If in doubt, check with the company that installed your roof. When you work with roofs as often as we do, you understand just how fragile they are, thats why we always recommend the gentlest method of roof cleaning possible.
Do you carry Liability Insurance and WCB coverage?
Absolutely! Working on roofs is dangerous work, and while we utilize industry leading safety procedures,, insurance to protect our clients and ourselves is necessary. Our WCB number is 200404053 and we carry 2 Million dollars in liability insurance through Aviva.
How long will my roof stay clean for?
Most roofs will stay clean for anywhere from 2-4 years, and we recommend having a maintenance spray done every 2.5 to 5 years. This will keep your moss free!

What kind of weather is best for roof cleaning?
We typically don’t work in medium to heavy rain, or when the temperature goes below zero. Asphlat roofs are fine to clean in light, however, concrete tile & cedar shakes are best done in dry weather, as they can become slippery to walk on.
We do ask that you trust us with determining what weather is suitable. We guarantee our work, and it’s just as important for us to come on a suitable day as it is for you.
Does my roof cleaning service include a gutter clean?
Yes! Typically we will include an interior gutter clean with our roof cleaning services. We mention it in our quotes under “Treatment Preparation”. There are circumstances, however, that we will not include a gutter clean, but this will be discussed prior to estimating your roof.
How do I schedule an Appointment?
The first step is to call or email us for an estimate. Once you have an estimate, you can booked by approving it in the link that you will be provided, or by email, or calling in. For the rainier seasons of the year, its hard to give exact dates, but we will reserve your spot in the order you book, give you a general time frame, and then let you know an exact date once we have a good idea what the weather will do.
Do I need to be home for the roof cleaning?
It’s not important that you be home while the work is being done. Some customers prefer to be, and that’s great, it’s always nice to meet you in person! It is important is that we have access to running water and power somewhere on the exterior of the house.
What forms of Payment do you take?
We accept check, cash, and accept email transfers from customers who want to pay remotely!
Are your quotes firm, or do they change?
Our quotes are firm, and will not change. There are no surprises when we show up.
